“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” John 15:7
In any business and especially in athletics, before any contest the coaches devise a plan that they believe will help their team to be victorious over the opponent. They collect all the necessary information regarding their opponent so that they will have a precise game plan on how to defeat the other team.
They find their strengths, weaknesses and tendencies. Each of these areas brings a specific insight as to how to operate against an opponent. If you look closely enough, you will see that in order for the adversary to get something they will have to give up something. This is what I call a trade off takes place. The enemy has to determine if what they sacrifice will be worth what they get in return.
As we read God’s Word, we too must determine the trade off. The Word of God exposes Satan’s weaknesses, strengths and tendencies, which allows us to make the right decisions. The Bible shows us how to have health and not sickness, how to have prosperity and not poverty, how to be bold and not fearful, how to be strong and not weak. The Bible shows us the prescribed course of action we need to take to win in every area of our life. God has a game plan for us and it is a plan to give us a hope and a secure future.
Today I challenge you, in the midst of every situation to seek the plan that God has for your life. Read the Word of God daily and find out how you too can live victoriously.
You Can Do It!
